Jürgen Breforth is not only the founder of the band BREFORTH, but also guitarist and responsible for the backing vocals. As the creative head of the band, he combines musical flair with decades of experience in the international rock and metal scene.
With BREFORTH, Jürgen returns to his musical roots – back to 1982, when the “New Wave of British Heavy Metal” with bands such as SAXON, IRON MAIDEN and JUDAS PRIEST had a profound influence on him. Inspired by this powerful movement, he founded his first band MAD MAX, which is still active today and plays concerts all over the world.
Recent highlights include:
– a performance in front of over 5,000 enthusiastic metal fans in Colombia (April 2023)
– and a concert in Northern Cyprus, where MAD MAX was the first German rock band ever to perform there – another milestone in the band’s history.
